Announcing the new Classifieds Section to help connect carpools and exchange uniforms and books.
Dear GWA parents and faculty,
We face a noteable concern of transportation costs as we daily transport our children to and from school. Many families have expressed their concern as to whether they may have the ability to continue attending our school due to these costs. We want to do all we can to encourage all of our families to connect and support each other in sharing this burden of money, and time.
Along these same lines, we have need of helping all of us link up for other reasons: selling uniforms and books, switching lunch duty, finding ways to volunteer, know how to help, and get your minimum 40 hours in! We have created a new feature on our website to help.
Once you've signed in from the front page, you'll see the Classified Ads link in the "Member Links" menu. Here, you can enter the:
- Carpool link: Post the details of your situation and find someone also looking for help.
- Books and Uniforms link: Post GWA school items that you no longer need and would like to sell.
- Lunch Duty Swap link: Find another parent willing to swap your lunch duty date with you, or exchange for some other help you could offer!
